SHRI NIRMALA KAVACH
Shri Nirmal Ganesha,
please make us humble like dust particles and our faith in Mother, solid like a mountain. Salutations to Shri Nirmala Saraswati, Salutations to Shri Brahmadeva, May Shri Nirmala Vidya be awakened within us.
Salutations to Shri Laxshmi Narayanam, Salutations to Shri Adi Guru, Salutations to all the Gods and Goddesses and may we be ever protected by them.
Now begins the Maha Kavach of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
The presiding sage for Shri Nirmala Kavacha is Mahadeva,
The meter is Shri Bhairavi, The presiding deity is Mahamaya.
The Seed is “Shri Bhagavati” ……. Bhaga means six things together.
There are six attributes of God and Bhagawati is the Power of God.
First is Innocence;
Second is Creativity;
Third is Sustenance;
Fourth is Security;
Fifth is collective awareness and Divine Diplomacy;
Sixth is Forgiveness and Compassion.
Shri Adi Shakti is the same as Bhagawati is the same as Nirmala Devi, and She is the Power of God. Without Bhagawati, God has no meaning. It is like the moon and the moonlight, sun and sunlight You cannot differentiate. They are one and the same. The principle is Kalki Devata. Obeisance to Mahamaya
Thus spoke Harish with humility…….
Oh Mahadevi, please tell us that which is supreme and enlightens a Jivatma. that which helps yogis to ascend spiritually, destroying all ignorance and brings a seeker closer to You.
Shri Mahadevi replied. There is Nirmala Kavacha of Mahamaya, which is extremely powerful, simple in its implication and is useful to protect all human beings. It enlightens your attention and expands your awareness, leading the seeker onto the middle path where God has His benediction.
The Golden Goddess of serpentine nature is also known by the following names: Kundalini, Gauri, Kumari, Tejaswini, Surti, Al burqa, Tao, Virgin and many many
others……
For millions of years, she has been sleeping in the sacrum bone forming three and a half coils, waiting to be awakened so She can fulfill Her destiny.
When She is awakened by The Satguru, she shoots upwards, enlightening every Heaven it passes through before merging into the all-pervading cosmos.
This process is known as Kundalini Awakening and the seeker thus receives the Self Realization. Once the Self-Realization is established, the seeker embarks on the beautiful journey of Self Fulfillment.
There is no need to renounce anything or retire in the mountain or forest. This Self- Realization is to be practised by normal householders, staying in the society. Even children
can practice this and it is absolutely safe without any unpleasant side effects. When the Kundalini is awakened in a seeker, she passes through seven heavens located in the body. She eventually destroys all the blockages, impurities and diseases thus purifying and enlightening each heaven with Divine qualities.
Then Mahadevi summoned a Horse by the name Tejaswini
Shri Mahadevi said, “Please my child, mount on this Golden Horse with feminine head; we shall embark on the journey through Seven Heavens:
Tejaswini was extremely graceful and it had a face of one of the most beautiful Goddesses. The wings of the Horse spanned the three worlds and its slender legs barely touched the Earth. There was Shri Hanumana and Shri Saraswati on the right side, Shri Bhairava and Shri Mahakali on the left side.
Shri Mahalaxshmi who was in the centre, showed us the way.

Salutations to Shri Bhairava
Together we travelled with blazing speed to arrive at the doors of the First Heaven. This Heaven is known as Mooladhara. It is extremely beautiful with four provinces of Orange Earth.
The gatekeeper asked for the authorization and Shri Hanuman along with Tejaswini humbly requested the gatekeeper to open the doors.
Once inside the Heaven we met Shri Ganesha, who is the Supreme Lord of Mooladhara.
Salutations to Shri Ganesha
He is a little Elephant Headed God who is described beautifully by using these twelve names;
Shri Sumukha: Having a beautiful face, innocent like a child.
Shri Ekadanta: Having one tusk and with the other writing the record of every seeker.
Shri Kapila: Eternal and ever present.
Shri Gajakarnaka: Having elephant’s ears.
Shri Lambodar: Big bellied with his Kundalini on the stomach.
Shri Vikata: Huge like a mountain.
Shri Vighnanasha: The destroyer of obstacles.
Shri Ganadip: Leader of the Gunas.
Shri Dhoomraketu: Grey coloured eyes, ever in meditation on His Mother.
Shri Ganadyaksha: Chief of the Gunas.
Shri Balachandra: Sporting the moon on His Head, signifying a cool tempered Lord
Shri Gajanana: Elephant faced.
May Shri Ganesha bestow on us, four principal qualities of; Innocence, Wisdom, Valour and Knowledge.
Please make us auspicious and remove all the obstacles in our path of our Self Realization. Please help us to become children to recognize Our Mother. Saluting and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, we proceed to the next Heaven.
The second Heaven is known as Manipur.
This Heaven is made up of ten provinces, floating in a vast green Ocean of Illusion. Surrounding these kingdoms are Ten Primordial Adi Gurus in meditation, ever ready to guide the seeker in the path of Self Realization.
The Manipur is very beautiful and is made up of precious stones. This sparkling kingdom is full of the highest riches and is ruled by Shri Laxshmi and Shri
Vishnu.
Salutations to Shri Laxshmi Narayanam
Shri Laxshmi has ten forms and they are.
Shri Adya Laxshmi: The Primordial Energy. May Shri Adya Laxshmi awaken in us our Primordial desire to be one with Shri Adi Shakti.
Shri Vidya Laxshmi: The Knowledge. May Shri Vidya Laxshmi give us knowledge that is pure and dharmic.
Shri Saubhagya Laxshmi; The Good Fortune. May Shri Saubhagya Laxshmi bring us good fortune and auspiciousness so that we may ever remain with our Shri Nirmala Ma.
Shri Amruta Laxshmi: The Ambrosia. May Shri Amruta Laxshmi always keep us close to Shri Nirmala Ma so that we may ever bathe in the Ambrosia of Her Everlasting Love.
Shri Gruha Laxshmi: The Wife and Family. May Shri Gruha Laxshmi always keep us in balance in our day to day family life and we can remain contented with everything we receive as blessings of our Shri Nirmala Ma.
Shri Raja Laxshmi: The Royal Dignity. May Shri Raja Laxshmi awaken the Royal dignity within us so that we sing the praise of our Nirmala Ma without hesitation, spreading the message of Her Universal Love.
Shri Satya Laxshmi: The Awareness for Truth. May Shri Satya Laxshmi awaken in us the absolute desire for Truth, so that we identify ourselves as The Spirit.
Shri Bhogya Laxshmi; The Enjoyer of Wealth and the Spiritual State. May Shri Bhogya Laxshmi awaken in us the power to enjoy our state of Self Realization and our collective family so as to remain forever in the state of Nirmalanand.
Shri Yoga Laxshmi: The Giver of Yoga. May Shri Yoga Laxshmi unite us forever with the Absolute, so that we may remain in equilibrium with The Self, the collective and the universe
Shri Mahalaxshmi: The Power of Evolution. May Shri Mahalaxshmi, give us the power to evolve higher in our awareness to become The Spirit.
Salutations to Shri Adi Guru Dattatreya. Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara, Guru Sakshat Parabrahma, Shri Mataji Nirmala Ma, Tasmaye Shri Guruve Namaha.
May Shri Nirmala Janaka awaken the quality of total witnessing so that we may pass through our time on earth without getting attached or attracted to anything.
May Shri Nirmala Abraham awaken the quality of Universal Brotherhood and may this Father of Three Tribes unite the ever-fighting Jews, Muslims and the Christians. Please awaken the qualities of sacrificing the self and be in the service to others. May Shri Nirmala Moses awaken the ability to keep all the commandments.
May Shri Nirmala Socrates awaken the quality of taking collective decisions in day-to- day events, so as to uphold the dharmic life and society.
May we always follow the principle of disagreeing by agreeing.
May Shri Nirmala Confucius awaken the quality of Universal Justice.
May Shri Nirmala Lao Tse awaken in us the awareness of Universal Tao, which brings us into balance and helps us to avoid going to extremes.
May the purifying fire of Shri Nirmala Zarathustra burn and destroy all the negative tendencies in us and take us closer to the light giving Nirmala Mazda.
May Shri Nirmala Mohammed awaken in us the qualities of the peaceful warrior so that with introspection we may have Jihad, which is the war of self cleansing.
May Shri Nirmala Nanaka purify our thoughts, words and actions so that we may do the Divine work of giving Self Realization.
Please help us to overcome our greed and attachment to materialism so that we may be blessed by Shri Mahalaxshmi in our awareness to become The Pure Spirit.
May Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi awaken the awareness that there is One Master and this Atma in our hearts is the reflection of the One Master, The Paramatma.
Saluting the Deities in Manipura and Bhavasagara, we approached the next Heaven The Next heaven of Yellow Fire rises from the navel of Shri Vishnu.
This heaven of six Provinces is ruled by Shri Brahmadeva and Shri Saraswati. Salutations to Salutations to Shri Brahmadeva Saraswati
Shri Brahmadeva Saraswati are also known by the following names;
Shri Buddhi: May Shri Nirmala Buddhi enlighten our brain so as to make us aware of our spiritual state.
May Mahat Ahamkara: May Shri Nirmala Mahat Ahamkara help us to surrender ourselves totally to the Will of the Divine.
Shri Surya: May Shri Nirmala Surya enlighten our Pingala Nadi and the right side.
Shri Chandra: May Shri Nirmala Chandra cool our Pingala Nadi and the right side so as to remove all malefic heat generated in our body due to excessive thinking, planning and actions.
Shri Tattwa Swamini: May Shri Nirmala Tattwa Swamini enlighten and vibrate the vital elements present in our Koshas.
Shri Turya: May Shri Nirmala Turya establish our Self Realization and help us to remain in the state of thoughtless and doubtless awareness.
May Shri Nirmala Vidya awaken pure desire within us to have our Self Realization and give us pure knowledge and techniques of Kundalini Tantra.
May Shri Hazrat Ali give us the techniques of the Divine Arts and creative actions.
Please make us aware of the fact that it is the Almighty who is the doer and enjoyer of all things, we do nothing at all……
Shri Sharda, please free us from six negative emotions of lust, anger, greed, jealousy, hatred and attachment.
Saluting the Deities of Swadhistan, we proceed to the next Heaven.
The Fourth Heaven is known as Anahat.
It has twelve pink cities floating in air. Anahat is ruled by Shri Durga and its cities guarded by the powerful Shri Jagadamba seated on a ferocious tiger.
Left cities are ruled by Shri Parvati and Shri Shiva who are ever protecting the Nirmala Atma of the seeker.
The cities on the right are ruled by Maryada Purushottam who is Shri Rama. Shri Rama with His Shakti Shri Sita on the left and Shri Laxshmana on the right. Salutations to Shri Durga Mata.
Shri Nirmala Durga please establish our security and remove all our fears and apprehensions. Salutations to Shri Jagadamba.
Shri Nirmala Jagadamba, please protect me from all malevolent beings and destroy all rakshasas who try to harm your children.
Shri Nirmala Ma, You are the Most Powerful Mother in the universe.
You are our Mother also ,You love us, You protect us…
Nothing, absolutely nothing can ever happen to us.
Salutations to Shri Sita Rama
May Shri Sita Rama awaken the sense of maryadas in us so that we do not shirk our responsibilities.
May we respect all our relations and honour every promise we make to ourselves, our fellow beings and to God.
Shri Rama please make us benevolent like You as to become true instruments of our Divine Father.
Salutations to Shri Shiva Parvati.
Shri Nirmala Shiva, please make us aware of our real state which is The Spirit.
Shri Nirmala Parvati please protect the seat of Nirmala Atma, thus making us true instruments of Mother’s Universal love.
Saluting all the deities of Anahata we proceed to the next Heaven……..
The Fifth Heaven is known as Vishuddhi.
There are sixteen blue cities of Ether and each city is ruled by one thousand Queens. Vishuddhi is ruled by Shri Krishna who is in eternal pay with His Shakti Shri Radha. On the left side is Shri Vishnumaya and on the right side is Shri Vitthala Rukmini; both ever ready to serve their master, Shri Krishna.

Shri Radha Krishna are also known by these following names;
Shri Radha Krishna: May Shri Radha Krishna awaken the state of absolute witness in us so that we may remain forever in the supreme state of Sat, Chit, and Nirmalananda.
Shri Vitthala Rukmini: May Shri Vitthala Rukmini awaken the sense of respect for others and we can realize that each one of us is part and parcel of the same universal principle.
Shri Govidampatih awaken in us the quality of pure speech so that we may use the three golden principles of communication that are Satyam vada, Priyam vada, Hitham vada……
Shri Gopta: May Shri Gopta awaken in us the awareness of the fact that each living creature is ruled by God and we should respect all forms of life.
Shri Govindah: May Shri Govindah awaken the sense of pure thought, words and actions.
Shri Gopatih: May Shri Gopatih give us the sense of total detachment so that we may feel like masters of the three worlds without possessing anything.
Shri Americeshwari: May Shri Nirmala Americeshwari awaken the collective awareness of the entire human race, so that the entire race of mankind gets their Self Realization and we can establish the Kingdom of God on Earth.
Shri Yeshoda: May Shri Yeshoda awaken the sense of respect for elderly people and we consider and treat each elderly person as our Mother and Father.
Shri Vishnumaya: May Shri Vishnumaya awaken the quality of Self Esteem within us so that we may lead our life with Self Respect. May She always protect the Love and respect between the brother-sister relationship.
Shri Vainavini Vamsanadaya: May Shri Vainavini Vamsanadaya make us hollow like the flute, so that the Almighty can play His Divine tune of pure melody through us.
Shri Viratangata: Virata awaken in us the quality to recognize the highest Cosmic form of The Lord and His Power, Shri Bhagawati. We can recognize the same when we realize our Self.
Shri Bal Krishna: May Shri Bal Krishna awaken the powerful innocence of a child in us so that we may enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Shri Sikhandi: May Shri Sikhandi protect us from the negativity in our family.
Naraka Antaka: May Naraka Antaka destroy our ego oriented, harsh, sarcastic, sadistic behaviour, making us absolutely humble, like little particles of dust.
Shri Mahanidhi: May Shri Mahanidhi make us aware of the fact that we are all little cells in the cosmic body of our beloved Mother Nirmala Ma.
Shri Maharadha: May Shri Maharadha protect our state of Self Realization so that we may enjoy the eternal play in the garden of Vrindavan, bathing forever in the waters vibrated by Shri Radha who is Shri Nirmala.
Saluting all the deities of Vishuddhi we proceed to the Next Heaven.
The Sixth Heaven is known as Agnya.
This Heaven is made of two cities of the diamond. Between the two cities pass a very narrow bridge. This bridge is narrower than the eye of the needle and sharper than the sharpest edge of the blade. It is very difficult to pass across this bridge yet innocent children of all ages can easily pass through to enter finally into the Kingdom of the Seventh Heaven.
This heaven is ruled by Shri Jesus along with His Mother Mary.
Salutations to Shri Jesus and Mary.
May Shri Jesus awaken the quality of absolute Compassion so that we may forgive everybody.
May we recognize the child within us so that we can be one with our Mother. On the right is Shri Buddha and on the left is Shri Mahavira.
Salutations to Shri Buddha, Salutations to Shri Mahavira.
May Shri Buddha awaken in us the awareness to surrender our Ego and free will and Shri Mahavira help us to overcome our conditioning so that we may not judge anybody and act spontaneously by remaining in the present.
Salutations to Shri Hamsa Chakra Swamini,
May Shri Hamsa Chakra Swamini awaken in us the quality of Divine Discrimination so that we can always traverse the path on which the Almighty has showed His mercy and benediction and to avoid the zones of extremes.
Salutations to the Ekadesha Rudras,
May Shri Ekadesha Rudra destroy all the negative forces that make us doubt ourselves, Our Mother and our faith in Almighty God.
Please also destroy all lethargy that makes us half hearted in our seeking. Saluting all the deities of Agnya we proceed to the Final Heaven, known as the Kingdom of God. Tejaswini, along with Mahalaxshmi, Mahasaraswati and Mahakali went ahead to enter the Kingdom of God.
The Seventh Heaven has one thousand gardens
Each garden has many, many beautiful trees full of coloured flowers and fruits. There is a light which is shining so bright everywhere. One can see all the other six Heavens beneath. In the Middle of the garden there is a very bright burning bush emitting, extremely sweet fragrance and a cool breeze.
Tejaswini the Feminine horse brings me closer to this bush and asks me to alight and disappear into lights. I hear a voice coming from the cool flames of the bush; Welcome to The Kingdom of God. I instantly recognize this feminine voice of Mahadevi. I see that Mahalaxshmi, Mahasaraswati and Mahakali have bowed down and I too follow their footsteps. The cool tongues of flame leap in all directions touching the Fontanel Bone area of my head. I felt a cooling sensation in my spine as if something very strong is rising upwards. It reached the brain and there is a sudden expansion and I see millions of suns Shining within.
Slowly the Light fades out and I feel a very cool sensation on my head, palms and my entire body is feeling light as air.
I raise my head and see the form of Mahadevi slowly emerging from the cool flames of the bush. She is so beautiful and Her Face is shining like millions of suns put together. Slowly, Mahalaxshmi, Mahasaraswati and Mahakali merge into Her.
She in a very gentle voice tells me that I have my Self Realization, I must daily meditate and try to seek through meditation alone.
First there will be the state of thoughtless awareness known as Nirvichara Samadhi, this will be followed by the state of doubtless awareness known as Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Once the seeker attains the state of Nirvikalpa there is absolute protection from the Almighty and the seeker remains ever in Nirmalananda.
She showed me how to raise the Kundalini and take seven Bandhans of Her Divine protection.
Thanking the Mahadevi for revealing to me the science of Sahaja Yoga, I asked Her humbly, “Oh Mahadevi, when will I see you again?” To that She replied, “I am Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent, saying this She disappeared leaving me drenched in the ambrosia of Her Divine vibrations…….
Thus ends the Nirmala Kavach of Mahadevi, Mahamaya.
